Growth Habit:
Like other Scindapsus pictus, this cultivar is a climber. It is best to provide a moss pole or similar material to allow for the attachment of aerial roots and for the plant to produce mature leaves that are prominently bigger and have more silvery color. It can also be grown in pots an and allowed to trail, this however causes the leaves to stay in its small juvenile form
The plant is propagated by cuttings. potted in aroid mix and is grown in bright indirect light at tropical temperature (60-70 degrees) and at a relative humidity maintained at 50-80%
Leaf Blade:
Juvenile Leaves
Length 10-12 cm
Width 5-9 cm
Juvenile leaves tend to have a more ovate and slightly falcate shaped leaves with cordate base and acute apex
Mature leaves
Length: 14-20 cm.
Width: 10-14 cm.
Mature leaves have cordiform shape with acuminate apex and cordate base
Its leaves are arranged in an alternating fashion and are attached to the stem in a petiolate manner. Venation is pinnate.
It exhibits a smooth and matte leaf lamina with dominant glittering silver grey color and a few speckles of dark green usually near the margins of the leaves
This cultivar is distinguished from other cultivars of Scindapsus pictus because of its dominant silver gray color It somehow resemble that of Scindapsus pictus "Platinum" except that it has minute speckles of dark green usually near the lateral margins of the leaves It also has relatively larger leaves compared to S. pictus platinum and other cultivars of Scindapsus pictus
